BSc Hons Occupational Therapy
Beth holds a BSc in Occupational Therapy and has specialised training in Creative Arts Therapy. She’s also accredited in Compassion Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
Beth is passionate about working with adults and young people, especially those dealing with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. She believes in the power of creative expression for mental health and uses creative media as a tool for wellbeing when apprpriate.
Currently, Beth is a Specialist Mental Health Mentor at De Montfort University, where she supports students in thriving and living well while managing mental health conditions. She also works in private OT practice with Wellbeing Therapy Solutions and loves the variety that this brings.
Beth loves the diversity and challenges of being an OT and Mentor. She finds joy in building relationships with people, helping people achieve their goals and watching them grow and thrive.
In her free time, Beth enjoys long walks in the country with her dog and spending quality time with her two children. She’s not a fan of spicy food or cold, rainy days.
