Hi I’m Kayleigh and I have been working as an Occupational Therapist for over twelve years. I am passionate about mental health and emotional wellbeing and have specialised in Mental health throughout my career, working within various NHS services both in Adult Mental Health and Children, young people and family services.
I have also contributed to and facilitated teaching on the BSc Honours Occupational Therapy programme at Coventry University, worked on the development of a digital mental health platform for young people and I continue to volunteer with a local children’s charity to support vulnerable and disadvantaged children.
I have undertaken additional training in Solution Focussed Therapy, Mindfulness, Sensory Integration awareness and Coaching and hold a training licence with Connecting with People in Self Harm awareness and Suicide prevention.
In addition to working at Wellbeing Therapy Solutions I also currently work in the NHS as a Clinical Specialist in Children and young people’s Mental Health Services. I am passionate about the importance of early intervention and prevention and work with young people, their families and the professionals who support them to support emotional wellbeing.
When I am not at work, I love spending time with Bailey, my cockapoo, and travelling whenever I get the chance to. I am a big rugby fan and love going to watch my local team as well as International fixtures. My family and friends are very important to me and I regularly prioritise social time and particularly enjoy live music.
